SyCipLaw has been named the Philippines’ National Law Firm of the Year by the International Financial Law Review in the years 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Its representative list of clients includes Chevron Texaco, General Electric, Citicorp, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, American Express, Bank of America, Asian Development Bank and the government of the United States of America. The firm is a member of at least three international law firm networks, such as Multilaw, Pacific Rim Advisory Council and the World Law Group.
Former Philippine Supreme Court Justice Florentino Feliciano, who served on the WTO Dispute Settlement Body, was the firm's managing partner from 1983 to 1986 and is now the firm’s senior counsel. The firm’s immediate past managing partner, Andres G. Gatmaitan, was the only Filipino named on Asian Legal Business Magazine's Hot 100 List for 2004. The magazine noted that SyCipLaw "set[s] the standard in the market".
At the 2008 ALB SE Asia Law Awards[3], SyCip Salazar was crowned Deal of the Year - Philippines Deal Firm of the Year.
